Building a Network Graph at Scale

When we started building Bizdex, we knew the network graph would be the core of everything. Every feature — recommendations, research, portfolio overlap — depends on it.

The Challenge

Professional networks are messy. People change jobs, companies merge, funds close. The graph has to stay current without manual updates.

Our Approach

We combine public data enrichment with user-contributed signals to maintain a living graph. Embeddings help us find non-obvious connections that traditional keyword matching misses.
